Liriam Tiujo-Delgado holds a PhD in Law. She is an Associate Professor at the Instituto Superior de Ciências Jurídicas e Sociais, in Praia, Cabo Verde, where she heads the Research Center and coordinates the Master’s degree in Public Law.

She is also the scientific coordinator of the Jean Monnet EU-CV Module (2023-2026). She attended The Hague Academy of International Law (2009) and the Academy of WTO Law and Policy (Washington, D.C., 2013). Her teaching, research and publication field is Public Law, namely Law and Economic, Regional Integration Law (European Union Law and ECOWAS Law), Constitutional Law and Administrative Law.

As a consultant, she was responsible for preparing the first Report of Cabo Verde to the International Civil and Political Rights Covenant; the first Report of Cabo Verde to the Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination against Women; the Analytical Report “Plus 5” on Childhood and Action Plan of Cabo Verde; and the first Universal Periodic Review of Cabo Verde. She integrated the team of consultants responsible for the preparation of the study on child labor in Cabo Verde (2007).
