Zoya Ivantsova is a Ukrainian lawyer, attorney, and scholar who combines practical legal work with academic activity.
In 2021, she defended her PhD dissertation in the field of Law (specialty 081 “Law”) at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The topic of her research was: “Local Self-Government (Municipal Administration) in the Federal States of Germany: A Comparative Legal Study”.
Since 2022, she has served as an Associate Professor at the Department of Constitutional Law, National University “Odesa Law Academy”.
Her current academic interests focus on human rights in Ukraine and the role of the Council of Europe bodies in their protection.
